Just in case you are looking for something good on TV to blow your mind. There’s a brilliant TV series on Apple TV+ called “The Afterparty” created by Christopher Miller (“21 Jump Street,” “The Lego Movie,” “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” and “The Mitchells vs the Machines”), one of the most creative minds working nowadays.
The show is a shuffled playlist of different genres that just keep moving as well as delivers the purest fun rides this year. Plus, there’s also a murder mystery as the vehicle that drives the plot and characters. Every episode has something new and something hanging there that drives me crazy for the rest of the week.
Go check it out (you must!) and enjoy the thrilling ride. The show just aired its season finale yesterday, but don’t worry, Apple has renewed the second season already, which means we’re going to watch Tiffany Haddish solve more cases…awesome.
Bonus: before season two arrives, I’m gonna add “Two Shots” to my playlist and listen to it over and over again.
